Linalool:

This terpene gives lavender its characteristic to lavender and is also present in other flowers. This terpene provides a soothing effect and is used to treat anxiety.

Limonene

This is a very common terpene present in large concentrations in oranges, lemon, and grapes. As per research, this terpene has antibacterial properties and has been studied for preventing the development of cancer cells.

Alpha-Pinene

The scent of pine tree comes from this Terpene. This terpene is present in hemp plant and also in pine and rosemary. Alpha-pinene is used to treat breathing problems as well as open bronchial tubes.

Properties and Applications of Terpenes

The most important property of terpenes is their aromatic properties. Thanks to these terpenes, we get some fantastic perfumes of varied fragrances to use every day. These terpenes are used in the production of scents on a wide basis.
