Diagnosis

As a single test cannot diagnose knee arthritis, your doctor will employ imaging investigations, a thorough medical history, a physical examination, and laboratory testing to figure out what’s causing your symptoms.

Numerous individuals over the age of 50 will show evidence of wear and tear in their joints that may be seen on X-rays. If your healthcare practitioner is concerned about a significant cause, MRI may be ordered, which can offer comprehensive pictures of bones, ligaments, tendons, and muscles.

Certain types of knee discomfort, such as inflammatory arthritis, can be diagnosed or ruled out by lab tests. Blood tests and knee aspiration, which involves removing fluid from the knee joint and evaluating it for abnormalities and infection, are examples of lab testing.

  1. This is great for knees, but I have osteoarthritis throughout my skeleton in every single joint. What product is best for total joint osteoarthritis? Although now 70, male, most if not all of this is due to injuries when younger and this has been with me for five decades plus. Now with aging, I am becoming crippled in hands, feet, elbows, shoulders, neck, back, hips, knees, etc. Had total disc replacement in neck past year and am now scheduled for left hip, but feel I will soon need both knees and right hip, etc. To complicate things, I also have peripheral neuropathy and these pains gang up on me — Extreme Pain CBD topical cream applied daily seems to help but it is expensive and VA frowns on anything CBD. Was exposed to Agent Orange and other things while serving in Vietnam. Any help appreciated — Thanks!
