Let us know how each of these arthritis affects our hip joints.

The most common type of hip arthritis is Osteoarthritis. This type of arthritis affects your hip joint cartilage. Osteoarthritis occurs when the articular cartilage that is the joint surface cartilage breaks down and wears away leaving the raw bone beneath exposed.

The articular cartilage is a smooth, slippery substance that protects and cushions the bones and helps them in moving smoothly. As this cartilage wears down, it results in raw bones rubbing on each other thus causing pain. Osteoarthritis develops slowly and then the pain becomes worse gradually.

This condition has no specific cause. Factors such as old age, family history, obesity, previous hip injury can result in hip osteoarthritis.

Symptoms of Hip Osteoarthritis include:

  • Stiffness in the joints after sitting for a long time or as you get out of bed
  • Pain, swelling, or tenderness in the hip joint.
  • Feeling or crunching sound of bone rubbing against bone
  • Inability to perform daily activities and move your hip.

Rheumatoid Arthritis

A systematic disorder Rheumatoid Arthritis affects your hip joint as well as your entire body. The inflammation that occurs is a result of the response of the immune system rather than any wear and tear.

Our hip joint is protected by a capsule that surrounds our joint completely. To help the joint move smoothly, this capsule contains a special lining called the synovial lining which is filled with a lubricant called joint fluid.
Rheumatoid arthritis results in swelling of the synovial lining. This results in pain and inflammation of the hip joint.

This type of Hip arthritis can occur in people of all ages and is more common in women. This arthritis can affect both the hips and certain joints at the same time and can also cause the bone and cartilage to deteriorate.

“This stuff works wonders. I use it to help curb my anxiety and I now swear by it. I have tried other companies and their Full Spectrum CBD is the best I’ve tried so far, in terms of the effect and flavor (I’ve tried some pretty intolerable flavors from other brands). I also gave some to my father who deals with hip pain and he loved it. His pain was completely gone the next day. Although I wish the price was a bit more affordable, this is definitely worth every penny! Thank you, guys!”

  1. This really made me pay attention. The writing skill alone kept my interest. Thank you for sharing!

  2. I just started taking the CBD oil. It has been a miracle. It has been about 5 days. I am not walking with a slight limp. I have no groin pain. I still take alleve gels though. I cannot believe it works. My main question is :Will this delay a hip replacement place r knee? I believe it could because it does relieve inflammation. On Monday, I was begging my doctot for a hip replacement. I got severely depressed from the pain and the idea of surgery. Now, I am feeling much more positive. I hope they do more research on CBD use and if it delays needing an operation . I have osteoarthritis of the hip.
